We also have a full espresso bar featuring gourmet Ghirardelli chocolate products, iced mochas and fruit smoothies. We pride ourselves in serving fresh and delicious gourmet treats such as cakes, pies, cookies, bars, brownies and our own secret recipe cinnamon rolls. Le Serving Spoon is a licensed catering facility where we put your needs first. Our nationally accredited chef / owner has been providing catering services to this area for over eight years. We hope you enjoy our menu and urge you to ask if there’s something special you’re searching for that’s not listed inside.

A deposit in the amount of $150 is due upon booking your event. The final bill which is due on the day of the event will include the remaining balance, 6% Michigan sales tax and a 15% gratuity charge.

Your place or ours? We do cater to a number of off-site locations throughout West Michigan (list available). Le Serving Spoon also offers the option of renting our own facilities. We have created a quaint room on our lower level for social gatherings of 22 or fewer. Fondly referred to as our Tuscan room it is always at our customers disposal for dinner parties, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners or business lunches.

Sit Down Dinner Options


The following dinner options are separated into price ranges. Please choose the price range that you wish your party to fall into. Once you have chosen this price range you can then more efficiently choose the salad, entrée, starch and vegetable option that is perfect
for your party.

Please choose one selection from each category to create the ideal “sit down” feast for your specific event.

Salads…(served with bread / rolls / butter)


  • Caesar: traditional Caesar salad with romaine lettuce, parmesan cheese, garlic croutons and classic Caesar dressing all tossed together.
  • Tossed: spring mix lettuce tossed with shredded carrots, tomato wedges, red onion rings, cucumber slices, croutons and shredded Colby-jack cheese. Choice of dressing.

The following salad options are available at an extra charge of $1.50 per person.


  • Michigan Cherry Salad: spring mix lettuce, dried cherries, toasted pecans, tomatoes, celery, red onions and blue cheese crumbles. Served with cherry vinaigrette on the side.
  • Melon Salad: spring mix lettuce tossed with roma tomatoes and chunks of cantaloupe, drizzled with poppy seed dressing and toasted walnuts.
  • Waldorf Salad: wild rice, apples, dried cherries, pears, oranges and walnuts tossed in a traditional mayonnaise and sour cream dressing.
  • Greek Salad: Salad greens tossed with pitted kalamita olives, plum tomatoes, sliced red onions, cucumbers and crumbled feta cheese. Served with red pepper vinaigrette on the side.
  • Spinach Salad: baby spinach leaves tossed with water chestnuts, crisp bacon, sliced mushrooms and red onions. Served with a tangy French dressing on the side.

Entrées…


  • Italian Chicken: juicy chicken breast baked in garlic, white wine and fresh herbs.
  • Honey Ham: sliced honey ham baked in brown sugar. (average 2 slices per person)
  • Roasted Turkey: tender buttered turkey breasts sliced and served with homemade gravy. The following entrée options are available at an extra charge of $2.00 per person.
  • Pot Roast: tender slow roasted pot roast served in a rich shallot gravy.
  • Teriyaki Pork: pork tenderloin marinated in an teriyaki glaze and slow roasted until tender. (3 slices / person average).
  • Herb Pork Loin: tender slow roasted pork loin served with a Michigan cherry and white wine glace.
  • Beef Tips: Tender slow roasted beef tips tossed with caramelized onions and a red wine cream sauce.
  • Frangelico Chicken: 6 oz chicken breast baked through and covered in a creamy Frangelico sauce.
  • Almond Chicken: 6 oz breast of chicken coated in toasted almonds and baked to a golden brown. Served with a creamy herb Chardonnay sauce.
  • Cherry Chicken: 6 oz chicken breast stuffed with a dried cheery and sage stuffing ladled with a sweet cherry balsamic glaze.
  • Honey Roasted Chicken: 6 oz chicken breast baked in sweet honey and fresh rosemary and topped with crumbled feta cheese.
  • Boursin Chicken: 6 oz chicken breast stuffed with a creamy mixture of boursin cheese, shredded carrots and toasted pecans, topped with a white sauce.

The following entrée options are available at an extra charge of $3.00 per person.

  • Lemon and Tarragon marinated salmon: fork tender salmon fillets marinated in lemon juice and tarragon butter baked until flaky. Served with a dollop of creamy cucumber dill sauce.
  • Potato Encrusted Walleye: a 6 oz walleye fillet encrusted in shredded potatoes and baked until golden brown, served with a sour cream beurre blanc.
  • Garlic Crusted Prime Rib of Beef: slow roasted and served medium-rare. Served with au jus and creamy horseradish sauce.

Starches…

  • Mashed Potatoes: Idaho potatoes perfectly mashed seasoned with butter, salt and pepper. Served with homemade gravy.
  • Garlic Mashed Potatoes: redskin potatoes, mashed with fresh garlic and butter.
  • Nutty Wild Rice: long grain wild rice tossed with tossed almonds. (available without almonds).
  • Baked Potatoes: Baked Idaho potatoes, served with butter and sour cream.

The following starch options are available at an extra charge of $1.25 per person.


  • Roasted Redskin Potatoes: redskin potatoes tossed in olive oil, rosemary, kosher salt and cracked black pepper.
  • Duchesse Mashed Potatoes: Idaho potatoes perfectly mashed and mixed with eggs, piped through a decorator bag into perfectly portioned mountains and finished in the oven until golden brown.
  • Confetti Rice Pilaf: baked in fresh chicken broth and tossed with fresh diced vegetables. Colorful and delicious.
  • Chateau Potatoes: thinly sliced potatoes layered with parmesan cheese, diced tomatoes, crisp bacon and onions all baked in a rich custard. Cut into squares.
  • Twice-baked Mashed Potatoes: Idaho potatoes perfectly mashed and mixed with sour cream, Colby-jack cheese, crisp bacon and green onions.
  • Cheesy Onion Potatoes: Idaho potatoes perfectly mashed and mixed with sour cream, Colby-jack cheese and French fried onions.

Vegetables…


  • Summer Blend Vegetables: a frozen blend of traditional carrots, green beans, yellow carrots and red peppers tossed in a light herb butter.
  • Green Beans Almandine: fresh green beans tossed with butter, salt, pepper and finished with a splash of red wine and toasted almonds.
  • Honey Glazed Carrots: fresh baby carrots tossed in a sweet mixture of butter, honey and brown sugar, finished with fresh parsley.
  • Fresh Broccoli, cauliflower, carrots: all blanched and tossed into a light herb butter.
  • Fresh Broccoli with three cheese horseradish sauce: al dente broccoli buds topped with a creamy horseradish cheese sauce. Just the right amount of tang.
  • Scalloped Corn: sweet corn, heavy cream, onions, parmesan cheese, Swiss cheese and crackers are baked to a golden brown.
  • Green bean Casserole: an old family favorite. Green beans, cream of mushroom soup and bread crumbs, easy as that.

Option #1: one salad, one entrée, one starch, one vegetable… (per person)

0-25 guests $15.95 (basic menu price)

26-75 guests $14.95 (basic menu price)

76 guests and up $12.95 (basic menu price)

Adding an extra entrée option: add $4-$7 per person. (two meats per person)

Adding an extra starch option: add $2.50-$4 per person. (two starches per person)

Adding an extra vegetable option: add $2.50-$4 per person. (two vegetables per person)

Adding “choice” of entrée (i.e. choice of chicken or beef): add $2.00 per person (one meat per person; choice between two options)


This is a plate-style menu option. There will be an added charge of 6% Michigan Sales Tax and a 15% gratuity charge for wait staff added to the final invoice.


Buffet Pricing


To make the process as simple as possible, we will offer you the option of choosing from the same “sit down” menu at a discounted rate.

If one of your guests chooses a buffet option we will offer you the same menu items as stated on the “sit down” menu option. This option will be available at a discounted rate of $1.00 per person less than the “sit down” pricing and although tax will still be added to the cost, the gratuity will be waived for the event as a full staff will not be necessary.


All food options would be the same as the “sit down” menu features, except for the salad option. The salad option for a buffet would be a complete salad bar that offers the traditional salad items: lettuce, cheese, mushrooms, red onions, cucumbers, eggs, tomatoes, croutons and assorted dressings. Individual salads would be an additional cost of .75c per person for a tossed or Caesar salad.


In example, basic cost per person in a buffet selection would be:

Option #1: salad bar , one entrée, one starch, one vegetable… (per person)

0-25 guests $14.95 (basic menu price)

26-75 guests $13.95 (basic menu price)

76 guests and up $11.95 (basic menu price)

If the number of guests for the event falls under 25, please contact for additional pricing. This pricing is done individually and is firm to the number of guests that you are intending to serve (at a 25 person minimum).
